Bald Mountain - Adirondacks

While sightseeing the Adirondack mountains this past week..

I fell off the peak of Bald Mountain - as someone miraculously snapped this photograph..

.. and was also able to angle this shot of the fall..

Luckily, I was wearing my "just-in-case" parachute (shown above) w/ camelbak hydration tube?..

In the end, I came out on top (pictured here, atop Bald Mountain)

The Chimney Bluffs - Wolcott NY

Jagged spine of a Jutting Bluff

Sun setting in Sodus Bay

View of the Chimney Bluffs from far peninsula

I recently took a trip West to the Chimney Bluffs state park.
A good friend and a gal accompanied me and the site was stellar.
We attempted to identify what appeared to be a cherry tree before sundown,
but had to head down the trail with aid of a head-lamp to make it out in time to boogie home.

A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man

Pictured here, most probably drawing a turtle-man
with butterfly wings
and a
word bubble that reads:
"I'd be more fly if I wasn't so trapped in my shell"

note to Deven: please post your artwork

113.

We call it Dollhouse because a troupe of dolls reside here!
Also remarkably resembles a doll's house.

(pictured here on a chilling October night; "Oct" from octo -eight- originally the 8th month of the Roman year. We are the Romans! botch said)

Recapping Camp_

{{{{{{{So I was a camp counselor at a sleep away summer camp this past hot spurt and boy wowzers what a slumber party that t'wer}}}}}}}}

I was employed by Oswego County Parks and Recreational Services at Camp Hollis from late June through the end of August 2008; and was dutifully declared:

Counselor:
To supervise, organize, and lead a residential camping program designed for children 8 to 14 years of age. (plus list of 1-11 titles and obligations)

At any rate (minimum wage), they allowed me to use power-tools, make boondoggles galore, and fed me free of charge - 3 times a day. (free snickers ice cream bars each night! I called it my "snick-at-night")
